Favorite Quotes – Taladega Nights

I know that I’ve seen the movie “Taladega Nights” before this weekend, but there is something about watching a movie for the second and third time that makes it all the funnier.  I initially wasn’t a HUGE fan of the movie, but after watching it again this weekend I realized that there are some truly priceless quotes.

Ricky Bobby’s youngest son with the red hair steps into the room and says this:

Texas Ranger: One of you turds is about to get smacked in the mouth!

I have been crying this morning from laughter quoting it over and over again to my husband who is working on his computer across from me.  You have to say it with a drawn Southern accent for the full effect.  He laughed the first time I said it to him and chuckled the second but now that I’ve said it 8 times he’s ignoring me.

Here is another one:

Ricky Bobby: I hope you have sons. Beautiful, handsome boys. Articulate, educated, and athletic. And I hope they have their legs taken from them, so you can know what this pain is like.
Lucius Washington: Don’t you put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby! Don’t you put that on us! You are NOT paralyzed!

This movie is too much.  You have to get over how ridiculous the humor is, but it is funny.  Especially their obsession with the baby version of Jesus vs. the adult Jesus.
