Loving Philadelphia!
Ok, so I’m here! My hotel room is totally gorgeous. I highly recommend Hampton Inn! Really plush and clean…AND spacious. Right now, I’m waiting for the bath to cool off a bit (too hot, I’m afraid), listening to the 80’s on a local radio station (“I’m only Human” by someone in the 80’s and it’s a quite excellent song now that it takes me back and I reminisce a bit!) and catching up on my blogs. My event tonight was wonderful and promising as far as networking/contacts are concerned.
It’s so funny. The building up to this trip was annoying. I didn’t want to leave my husband and babies and cute little home for the whole 25 hours I am supposed to be away. The beautiful part about working from home is that I rarely have to leave
About once every month or every other month I visit an office for a day and then twice a year maybe three times I have an overnight. Besides being a good thing (work wise) for me to be here I am so thankful that I have this time and I pray that I make the most of it. I’m going to log off here so that I can take time to read and relax.
I’m so thankful for so many things

Miss you already! Jim said “I’m only human” was sung by “The Human League”. He is Mr. 80’s.

My hubby loves Hampton Inns! In fact, if you don’t have a rewards card there, either get one to rack up points or let me know if we can give you his reward card # so that we can rack up points!
Enjoy your time! Being away will only make you appreciate home and your family all the more.
email me his rewards card number and I’ll add it before I leave!
You are so sweet! Actually, I just called him to find out his #, but he said he needs to be the registered guest and the paying guest in order to get the points..bummer, huh!
BUT, he would say Hampton Inns are the only hotels he’d stay in if he had the choice. LOVES ‘em. And, if you’re going to travel even a few times a year, he would recommend getting a rewards card yourself. You can rack up points for a free night or two to use another time w/ your oh, so wonderful hubby! That’s what we’re hoping to do with ours.
Glad your room is nice! Hope your trip continues to go well.
Hmm, I’ve never stayed in a Hampton Inn, but I’ll keep that in mind for future trips. Glad things went well!
Hampton Inns are great. Sometimes when I get the itch to get away alone, even the one across from Denny’s calls out to me on Route 24>). Nothing like a personal retreat to put wind in your proverbial sails .
Have fun Beth! I pray your time is refreshing. I always miss my hubby and kids even when I’m away for a few hours….makes you ready to dive back in!
Thanks for checking out my blog and taking the time to leave soem encouragement. It means a lot. What I would give for 25 hours away from home right now! Enjoy the rest and relaxations!
